For nearly 30 years, Jenny Whiteman has been a tireless advocate for strength and self-actualization. She owns and operates TEMPO Cycling & Pilates Studio.
Jenny discovered a penchant for physical activity from an early age; her childhood routine included gymnastics, diving and competitive soccer. As a teenager she “basically lived” at the YMCA; when she wasn’t taking classes, she was teaching aerobics or swimming laps in the pool.
Jenny and her husband, decorated track cyclist Kirk Whiteman, own and operate Tempo Cycling & Pilates, a popular cyclists' training facility in SE Portland.
Whether her client is training for competition, recovering from an injury or simply trying to get back into their body, Jenny believes in nurturing the person who walks through the door. She offers a challenging workout—with a healthy dose of compassion and humor.
Jenny discovered the Reembody Method through a workshop in Portland; ever since that day, she has been an avid supporter of the Method, both in her own classes and as a host for Reembody workshops and events. In her own words: “As an athlete and teacher, my goal has always been to find balance or flow in movement. The Reembody Method™ helps me achieve that!”
