Tony is a personal trainer who focuses on the needs of seniors and people with disabilities. He is currently studying to become a DPT.

Tony Angellilli (nee Cibik) grew up in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania, where he studied Architecture and Design, and came to Portland, Oregon eight years ago. At first, his interest in fitness was purely aesthetic—but, after injuries kept stacking up, he started to think that there was a missing link.

Tony understands that the daily pursuit of healthy, easy, sustainable movement is not the same thing as seeing how much weight you can lift; while these goals are not mutually exclusive, but they are certainly not one in the same.

Tony has now been working in health and wellness for the better part of a decade. He is a certified Parkinson’s Instructor, as well as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. He devotes time to Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Oregon Research Institute (ORI) for research studies based on Parkinson’s and Healthy Older Adults as an exercise instructor. He also enjoys comedy improv and performs at Curious Comedy Club in North Portland.

In his own words: “Start moving in a way that works for you, instead of following conventional methods.”
